Vocal improvisation is a way of expressing our spiritual and physical connection to the divine without expectations or limitations. We will begin the evening with meditation, and a reflection on how we connect to our own voices, whether positive or negative. We will continue by making music together in whatever way the spirit moves us, and end in meditation and reflection on our experience. All are welcome, from those who have been told they cannot sing, to those who love to sing. This event is offered on a "pay what you can" basis.
Fiona Vidal-White is an educator and church musician, and compiler / author of the Episcopal hymnal “My Heart Sings Out”, who loves to introduce people to the power of their voices, individually and communally.
