Friday - May 8, 2015, 6 pm (Please arrive at 5:45 pm; sorry, no late entry.)
Still Harbor, 666 Dorchester Avenue, South Boston, MA 02127
Organized by Rev Chonyi Richard Allen and the Sunray Meditation Society
All people of like heart and mind are invited to bring their holy voices and the power of love to an evening rooted in the profound ceremonial medicine of the Ywahoo Lineage, Ani Yun Wiwa (Eastern Cherokee): passed in this time to us by Venerable Dhyani Ywahoo, 27th Generation lineage carrier of this ancestral teaching and a recognized Dakini.
Since the long ago, this way of making spiritual medicine has been practiced and is intended to benefit the Earth and all People. Focusing one's mind through visualization, chanting of sacred sound formulae, with sound of rattles (life force makers) and drumbeat; we are reminded that we are all related and connected directly to the heartbeat of the Earth and the heart of the Multi-verse. Let us vivify the elements of life and remind ourselves and all People of the sacredness of this dream of life.
Together we co-create a World of Beauty.
Arrive early at 5:45 pm. Consider bringing a sandwich or a handy meal, as our chanting, rattling and drumming may go until 10 pm. No one will be allowed entry after 6: 15 pm to maintain the integrity of the prayer circle. We ask that people remain until the completion of all prayer offerings.
Free parking is 2 doors down in parking lot. Still Harbor is near the MBTA Red Line Andrew Station.
There are no fees. This medicine is neither bought nor sold. There will be a basket, if people are so moved to make a donation of the heart that these teachings and activities are supported and continue now and into the future.
Please refrain from wearing perfumes, fragrances and aromas in your clothing, on your body or in your hair -- as some may be very sensitive or allergic to these scents. If you feel called, it is appropriate to wear regalia and bring rattles and drums.
In this Time of Coming Together ( "Do- nay- la way- ga") may we call upon our body, speech and mind, recognize our inherent spiritual sovereignty and interconnectedness while carrying out our original instructions that we may we enter into a new time of peace upon our planet.
